Unexpected gift and surprise

He used to give me surprise every year during my birthday,

but this year is different, we had mutual agreement that this is year is not going to spend so much on gift, we treat each other a meal and that's it.

On that day, I was expecting him to at least have some plan and activities on what to do on that day. But he did not, his intention was to let me decide everything and he just pay for it. awwww. so sad.

The next day, sitting right in front of him, I chose to text him, 'Next year my birthday, please plan something'. Sounds like a command huh?

Then the next day passed, he came home with a pandora charm and patchi chocolate. I was like, I thought this year is no gift? and this year he surprised me with two gifts, one for my valentines day gift, another one for my birthday gift, for your information, my birthday falls on the valentines day =p I don't mind receiving one gift per year but this is the first time i got two gifts. The reason he bought me patchi chocolate is because I always told him my company always gift this luxurious chocolate to the customers, such luxurious chocolate I wish I can try too. I talked it in a casual way and he was as usual did not give me any response so I was thought he never listen into it. but he did...

I know I was being irrational, I should not complain that he did nothing on my birthday, but he actually did everything during the 365 days, it just that I emphasized a lot on the birth date it self. 

Glad to have you in my life.

Company Annual Dinner 2014

A throwback post. This year company annual dinner is different with last year. As the company's culture do, we usually only have catering services in the office area and people just makan-makan get along. Last year, we moved a step further and decided to try it outside. It was my first time organizing event, and everything was a mess. But this year, we manage to get our Marketing & Corporate Communication Manager to help us with this event, everything went smoothly, thanks her alot.

Alright, let's get started.This is how the backdrop looks like. The stage was so small because the ballroom is quite small and that's the best that they can provide us with 10 round tables being set up.

As usual, I will be in charge the registration and door gift, here's the picture of us, with my helpful admin colleague Siti, and the helpful new girl colleague.

This year we did invest a lot on the hall decoration, and this is the photowall. A group photo with my departmental colleagues.

Thank you the most to my colleague and the emcee of the night, she was so stunning! The girl in light blue gown, she looks like Elsa in the movie Frozen! haha!

After everything done, the registration started..everyone register their name and get their lucky number.

Too bad I have no  luck with the phone T_T but it's ok I still able to get RM200 cash =p I was actually holding the draw box but they mentioned my number! LOL

This year I have no luck with the best dressed award, but the winner is definitely deserve it! Look at the pretty mama with pink dress! She is so cute and charming that night. And for the male best dressed award, goes to the cute guy with a red bow tie xD

The lucky draw session was actually a mess actually, our objective is to let everyone get a prize, therefore we have to run the lucky draw session as quick as possible. When comes to the end, staffs began to enjoy singing on the stage, and lastly we have our CEO to come on the stage to perform singing. And what we did? We gave him flowers on the stage =p

That night was hot, everyone was so excited when the CEO started to take out his phone and selfie on the stage!!hahaha how funny it is xD

Fairness?

There is nothing can argue about being fairness. 
There is no fairness in this world.
Agree?
Bias, appreciation, recognition, it's not your say, it's the one who paid you do the talking.

Justice.
There is rules and regulations, we called it guideline to be better.
When nothing happened, everything go according to the guideline,
When bias happened, What is rules?
It's not about the rules and regulations, 
It's not about being follow the guideline tightly because you are a discipline person,
It's about the one who has the authority to break the rules.
He/She's word is rules.
Agree?

Accept it, 
in this cruel society, 
no point to get upset with this,
this is just a peanut,
should not be bothering me,
This is life.
 

What I want is all about..

I believe girls love to hear compliments, especially from the loves one.

He isn't the type that would compliment me everyday, or should say, not even in month?

Sometimes he would be saying things like, "hey, you have not been dressing up for so long". and when the time you really took the effort to make yourself to be a little bit different from usual days, he is still the same, not a single word to at least praise me that "oh you are so pretty today, or even, hey you look different today". or perhaps, if he is too shy to say these, take a photo with me? But non of the above mentioned happened. I guess I should have give up and accept that guys are too shy or reluctant to compliment the girlfriend.

Somebody might be saying that a girlfriend should know the boyfriend well, sometimes when he didn't say it out doesn't mean he didn't realize or he didn't care about it. Well, I do understand this, but, just once in awhile, a compliment, and I will be a happy girl jumping around with happiness.

Year end

Time for an update.
This two months what I had been doing is basically attending wedding dinner, wedding dinner and wedding dinner.
Other than wallet bocor, and also seeing all the wedding videos of all being the same styles. oh no, that's the current trend now, showing their childhood picture, their couple picture, then pre-wedding photoshoot. ahh, after seeing so many different couples is kind of boring . lol
And one more thing! attending such event the most frequent question you will be asked : So when is your turn?
Oh no, I tell you , that's nightmare. =.=

Year end again, is time to organize company annual dinner again,
and this year is the same, i got short notice for preparing this event
everything is pending approval, and the date is coming very soon
I have a feeling I'm going to rush like mad again.

Studies.
Alright, a bit update on this.
Done my first semester of MBA,
took one week leave just to study for my economics paper
that's terrible but please bear with me, after three years leaving Uni life, I need some time to pick up on studying also. Especially on concentrating lol
Result is not release yet but we have to select the subjects for next semester already. I have only about one week time off after the exam.
Second sem is a short sem, I still take two subjects, I guess I have forgotten how struggling I am during the previous sem. Nvm, not dying yet, still can take it. Go Go Go!

迟来憧憬的浪漫

随着《等一个人的咖啡》红起来
《缺口》又那么的好听
我打算重读九把刀的《等一个人的咖啡》吧
想当初还没开拍电影前，我看了几章后就放弃了。。其实有够闷的
也许我该改观？

续有了这个念头读小说后
我开始读回的，就是藤井树的作品《我们不结婚 好吗》
多么多的回忆涌上脑海里
中学时期朋友们都一直交换小说来读
这些都是我爱看的书本啊
可是中五毕业后
踏入大学，再踏入恋爱，好像强迫自己变得现实似的，
我不再碰爱情小说，因为我觉得这些，都是不可能存在的美好
可是现在，老了才打算碰回
以前憧憬的情景啊，和喜欢的人手牵手上课，走路回家
omg我现在正experience着呢
只是这憧憬发生得比较晚
容许我这个中年人再度享受这浪漫吧

Weekend updates

Girls who make up everyday, have you all notice that once you are done with your foundation, you looks fresh and pretty skin, but after a few hours, you realized your skin become dull?
Urgh, this is call oxidize? I don't know what to do to prevent this happen.

Le boyfriend has an event so he got to off to work, so I decided to make him breakfast
Have seen articles been sharing around in the FB about overnight oatmeal, so just give it a try
My usual way of cooking oatmeal is just pouring the boil water into it,
but this overnight oatmeal is to soak ur oatmeal with milk in an airtight glass jar and put in the fridge
and the next morning just take out and put your favorite fruits on top of it.
so here I have made this mango overnight oatmeal.
taste not bad =p
